We stayed in room 9, which meant a short walk outside to the old coach house. The room was very well presented, with a 4 poster bed, a single bed and a futon, as well as a wardrobe dressing table and an occasional table with two armchairs. The en suite bathroom has a toilet, a sink and a shower inside the enclosed bath.
The ground are wonderful and always with a wander. There is external seating should the weather allow.
The evening meal was simply excellent, I had steak and the wife had Lamb, both of which were very tasty. Service was very discreet and the atmosphere was lovely with quiet background music and several other couples dining at other tables.
I would thoroughly recommend Springfield House for a romantic night out and as a wedding venue.June 22, 2016
